God Set Me Up
The setback is the setup. God is working in what you’re going through right now.
It’s not just waiting. It’s a lay-up shot.
Mama Jan
You’ll get through what you’re going through, and you’ll go through it better if we go through it together. We are not made to do this life alone. We are designed for community. Now, that community might look different as you age, in certain seasons of life, and depending on your personal needs. But no matter what, we need each other.
I’m not here to give you Christian-ese answers to your problems. That’s unhelpful and a waste of time. I’m here to shine a light on how we can walk through and endure the inevitable trials of life. Everyone is going through something right now. We can’t escape it. We all struggle, suffer, try and fail, and make a mess of things quite often. What you are feeling, others feel it, too. What you are suffering, others do, as well. You are not alone in the struggle. We don’t need to go it alone. We have each other. We have Jesus above all.
My readers are not here for perfect grammar, an ideal publishing schedule, or the secret keys to living a perfect Christian life. They are looking for someone who can put language around what they are already feeling. People know they are living in The Messy Middle, and I’m right there, too.
I hope my words are your companion in struggle.
You don’t need an expert.
You don’t need more rules to follow.
You don’t need heaps of guilt laid on an already burdened and wounded heart.
You need honest conversation, Biblical truth, real encouragement from someone who is walking the same broken road you are, and the grace Jesus offers.
