A Lonely Pain
But I am healing
I know painful things have happened to you, as they have happened to me. No one is immune to pain and suffering in this life. But matters are far worse when nobody wants to validate what happened to you. When you feel judged, doubted, or misunderstood, it’s the worst kind of lonely pain. An unwillingness to validate someone’s pain and suffering shows a lack of compassion but also a complete lack of courage. Chosen, trusted family, and friends are often the ones you turn to when needing this validation, but what if you desire it from the one who offended you in the first place? That’s a different story. It is a deeper level of suffering when the one who sinned against you shows no care or compassion whatsoever for what their choices did to you. When someone shows you this is how they feel about you, believe them.
